Frequently asked questions
Can Chefchaouen be added to the tour?
Yes, we can add the famous Blue City of Chefchaouen with 1–2 extra days after Fez (or between Rabat and Fez). It is one of Morocco's most photogenic cities and very popular with English-speaking travellers. Ask us about the extension on WhatsApp.
Can I start the tour in Fez and finish in Marrakech?
Absolutely. The circuit is fully reversible. If you arrive via Fez and depart from Marrakech, we adapt the itinerary to run in reverse (Fez → Meknès/Volubilis → Rabat → Casablanca → Marrakech) with no problem.
Is the Fez medina hard to visit without a guide?
The Fez medina (Fez el-Bali) is one of the world's most complex urban labyrinths: 9,000 alleyways with no signage where getting lost is guaranteed. Our local guide knows all the shortcuts, hidden doorways and best viewpoints. Without a guide you miss half the experience and waste a lot of time searching for key sites.
How many kilometres does the 5-day tour cover?
The full circuit Marrakech → Casablanca → Rabat → Meknès → Fez covers approximately 700–750 km in total, spread over 4 driving days of 2–3 hours each. It is not exhausting — the legs are short and always punctuated with stops and visits.
